A brief introduction of Swanport Café (鸿芷咖啡馆简介)

鸿芷以咖啡馆为平台，传播环保公益文化，开启多元跨界公益生活，2013年在阿里巴巴公益基金会的资助下创立。
Swanport Cafe was established in 2013 with support from the Alibaba Foundation. Using the cafe as a platform, Swanport promotes philanthropy andenvironmentalism as a lifestyle by enabling diverse and cross sector dynamicsamong relevant sectors and the public.

We are asking for 30 RMB at the door, which will cover tea and snacks. Alcoholic beverages are a la carte.

** About the Talk (报告内容)**

This seminar introduces how energy intensivecompanies could significantly drive their energy, water, and raw materialsproductivity through management improvements, within a “quick-win” time frameand with minimal technical upgrades or CAPEX investments. A few case studieswill be discussed, demonstrating McKinsey’s approach on Resources Productive Operations, which tackles Technical System, Management Infrastructure and Mindset & Behavior issues in factories or plants to enable them reduce cost,improve competitiveness and at the same time, contribute to solve environmentaland resource scarcity dilemma. The speaker would also like to stimulatediscussions with the audience on how this fits into the country’s overalltransformation into a sustainable economy.

本次演讲介绍了能耗密集型企业如何利用运营管理优化的方式去最大限度地提高能源，水资源和原材料的利用率，并在较短时间内和少量的技术升级和设备投资达到目标。一些案例会被涉及和讨论，展示麦肯锡在资源高效运营上的解决方案：关注工厂的设备系统，管理架构以及思维，行为等方面的问题，以帮助其减少开销，提高竞争力并解决环境污染和资源浪费。演讲者同时想和观众一起讨论工厂的运营能效改善在国家能源改革中的角色和重要性。

** About the Speaker (报告人简历) **

Hao obtained his PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering from University of Sheffield, focusingon brownfield regeneration. He also holds an MSc in Environmental Engineeringfrom University of Nottingham and a BSc in Environmental Biology from Nanjing University.

许浩目前就职于麦肯锡公司，重点关注能效、资源有效利用和可持续发展，致力于协助领先的中国和跨国公司在战略和运营方面显著提升可持续性绩效表现。加入麦肯锡之前，许浩曾在世界经济论坛、埃森哲、普华永道和英国驻华使馆工作，在环境、气候变化和可持续发展等议题上积累了政策、公共和商业等不同视角的丰富经验。

许浩持有英国谢菲尔德大学的土木工程学博士学位，主要从事土壤和地下水污染修复的研究；他还持有诺丁汉大学的环境工程硕士和南京大学环境生物学本科学位。
